Charles Bray
Charles co-founded White Rock in 2012, assembled an industry leading executive team, raised assets from institutional investors and successfully deployed the capital.
Prior to White Rock, he founded three companies, Lone Star Land & Energy (2007), Tristar Producer Services of Texas (1992) and Simray Energy (1992). Lone Star, an EnCap company, profitably developed the Bakken Shale and was sold in 2010 while Simray acquired and exploited oil & gas properties in the southern U.S. From 1987-92, Charles was Engineering Manager – Acquisitions for Bridge Oil focused on evaluation and negotiation of oil & gas property acquisitions. From 1981-87, he held various operations and engineering roles for Joe Neal & Associates, Claydesta National Bank and ARCO Oil & Gas. Charles holds a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
