Greg West

Greg manages ESG and sustainability efforts and helps to develop its overall strategy. He also provides reservoir engineering support for optimization and upside opportunities. 

Greg West joined White Rock in 2022 and serves as its Vice President of Carbon Strategy and Sustainability. From 2019 to 2022, he consulted on asset evaluations, including carbon capture for enhanced recovery. From 2004 to 2019 he helped in the start-up of a CO2 capture and enhanced recovery business serving during this time as COO of Petrosource Energy, SVP of SandRidge Energy and COO of Trinity EOR. From 1986 to 2004 he was employed by Texaco and Chevron and worked in operations, reservoir engineering and various management roles focused on waterflood and CO2 flood operations in the Permian and Rockies. 

Greg holds a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
